ETHNOGRAPHIC OBSERVATION

 Here are the things i was taught and the things i discovered. 

                            ETHNOGRAPHIC OBSERVATION is main research tool. The word Ethnographic is derived from two Greek roots. 

           ETHNO means peoples nation community in the context of ethnography. It refers to studying a specific group of people their culture and there way of life.

           GRAPHIC it denotes the act of documenting or describing something often in detect.     

 

ETHNOGRAPHIC means deep writing about or deep describing a people or culture.

HOW IT IMPORTANT FOR DESIGNERS

    this research tool is important for the feild of design. In fact a designer must have good observation .he must be able to analyze the problem and weeds to in them or wait for them.  Observation in ethnography is important to designers in terms of learning how people live, work, and interact with each other in a milieu. In the real-life settings through observations, the designer clearly sees what is needed, the challenges, and what is valued. Further, this insight will be allowed to drive the development of products, services, or space that is more useful, comfortable, and meaningful. Ethnographic observation will also help designers connect with users at a deeper level, making their design more humane, effective, and solution-oriented, solving real problems and improving the experience of the user.
